ALF produces CORRUPTED OUTPUT in data files.
Hey,
I'm currently struggling with corrupted *_tau files produced by ALF. The cov_tau.out routine crashes when it attempts to read the intau file for the first time to count the number of bins. I found that some files got corrupted somewhere as they contain numbers like (0.230627280587649,6.174741035515 <9f> 21E-004) or (0.262604398540195,1.046307993280602E-0 ^T 3). I also found instances with R or X instead of T. I cannot recall doing anything to the data files, so I suspect that ALF actually wrote those corrupted files, but I don't know for sure.
Is that happening to anyone else? It's happening on a rather new computer (running Fedora 32) but I vaguely recall having similar issues where cov_tau.out crashes during reading on a different machine. As I didn't need that data, I never really investigated it.
