number formulas

we need reliable formulas which compute the number of cells in a tiling

currently, we have implemented those found in Table II here

however the only seem to be correct for specific p,q's. These guys here in contrast claim to have a formula for general p and q. This is (A3) and they even provide sort of a proof for it
