configureHPC.sh: make POSIX compliant and rename
The script configureHPC.sh
is written with bash in mind and not POSIX compliant, but since it's meant to be sourced by the user we have to assume that it will be interpreted by other shells. In particular, a system call like (for example os.system()
in python) invokes /bin/sh
which is symlinked to dash
in Ubuntu and Debian.
I also think it makes sense to rename the script since it's not anymore used for only HPC. I suggest setenv.sh
, since it takes the place of this script, which is still the one used in the current public version.
